Gender: Male
In 2003 I started my training 'in house' with the London Ambulance Service and spent 5 years working as an Ambulance Technician in Hackney, East London. I then went on to complete my paramedic training with the LAS for whom I continued working for a further 7 years. In 2006 I was involved with establishing the City Cycle Response Unit in the square mile, with a remit to work solo and get to patients quickly in locations hard to access by ambulance.
Transferring to South East Coast Ambulance in 2015, I began further study at St George's Medical School, University of London, while continuing to work as a first responder - this time on four wheels. In the spring of 2018 I qualified as a Paramedic Practitioner, and am now happy to be working in this role for AMP, having enjoyed 2 months on a placement here during my studies.
Outside of the 2 days working at Amherst I also work part time for SECAMB.
I live in Hildenborough, have 3 young children and enjoy gardening and swimming.
