Dr Lindsey Thompson

Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: MA, MRCGP, MBBS, BSc, DRCOG, DFFP

After qualifying from Kings College London in 1995, I spent time working in Tanzania and South Africa, before returning to London to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Having started my own family, and spent time working in the community I decided that I would like to become a GP. I have still maintained an interest in women and children's health, and work as a forensic gynaecologist at the Haven, Kings College Hospital.

I have worked at the Amherst since 2005 first as the registrar and more recently as a retained doctor working part-time.

I have four young children, which means life is constantly busy and full of surprises. I love keeping fit, enjoying running, netball, tennis and swimming, and still have a passion for travel.
