What is Pension Credit?
Pension Credit is extra money to help with living costs so if a patient is over state pension age and on a low income they can claim it and get access to other benefits such as:
- the Winter Fuel Payment
- a free TV licence if aged 75 or over
- help with NHS dental treatment, glasses, and hospital transport costs
- other benefits depending on circumstances.
