Dr Martin Owen
Primary qualifications: MBBCh (Hons) and MRCGP
I studied medicine at Cardiff University and graduated in 2010. After initially spending five years working within Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, I decided to return to Kent to train as a general practitioner, qualifying in July 2018. I still maintain an interest in acute care and work within Emergency Medicine two days per week, while working as a GP at Amherst three days per week.
I grew up in the Westerham/Sevenoaks area and was educated locally too. I look forward to being able to give something back to the local community that I know so well.
Outside of work I do my best to “practice what I preach” by running to keep fit. The rest of my time is spent playing with my new rescue dog!
