Whenever possible please try and attend one of the practices.

However if you do need a visit because you are seriously ill or housebound kindly telephone before 10.30am and be prepared to give a brief outline of the problem so that the doctor can plan his visits appropriately.

Please make it clear as to whether the home visit is Routine, Urgent or an Emergency.

Sometimes a word with the doctor on the phone can solve the problem and make a visit unnecessary.

Home visits are made at the doctor's discretion the telephonist will take the details of the visit but the visit is not guaranteed until you have spoken with your doctor
