How to register with our Doctors
If you wish to register with Amherst Medical Practice and live within our catchment area which is Chipstead, Chevening Dunton Green or Riverhead please contact the practice. We do not as a rule accept patients from other practices in the area unless those patients wishing to move practice can provide adequate reasons why they wish to move to this practice.
New patients will be registered with a named GP and will always see or speak to that GP unless he or she is away from the practice.
The doctors are committed to do everything possible to protect staff, patients and visitors from unacceptable behaviour and to support zero tolerance to any incident that causes hurt, harm damage or stress. This policy applies throughout the premises of Amherst Medical Practice, including the car park and surrounding grounds. It also applies to any doctor or employee of the practice whilst on duties away from the surgery if their duties are related to the business of the practice.
The Practice closes between 12.30 to 18.30 for Learning Afternoons. Please see the Home Page for details.
