How to obtain your repeat prescription
The Brasted Practice has been granted the right to dispense prescription medicines to our patients registered with the Brasted Practice for dispensing
This information seeks your co-operation to try to make sure that your prescription request passes smoothly through the system.
WE ALWAYS AIM TO HAVE YOUR MEDICATION READY FOR COLLECTION within 72 hours (3 working days)
If you have a repeat prescription slip you will be issued with a New Prescription for your medicines without having to refer to the Doctor.

Ordering a repeat prescription couldn't be easier:
1) Order online Please ensure you have a person login to access the system
Leave this at the Brasted Practice
Fax it to the Practice
Post it to the Practice
Speak to a member of the Dispensing Team at the Practice
You may also request that you collect your prescription from Sevenoaks
If you order from your repeat prescription by handing it in we do need your BOLD TICKS to the left of your medication details; this does make it much easier for us to process.
ITEMS NOT ON REPEAT
Many patients assume that the Prescribing Clerk cannot just issue items but that is not so, they are only allowed to issue more medication for items clearly defined on a repeat slip.
If you write on your prescription that you want another item that is not on your repeat list then this HAS TO GO TO THE DOCTOR and cannot be considered as a routine prescription and this may delay you getting your normal repeat items within the agreed time. It takes DOCTOR time for a review to be carried out as to why you are requesting the item so please understand if you have to wait longer for your normal prescription.
When your repeat slip says REAUTHORISE you must arrange to speak to your Doctor in telephone time or make an appointment to see your doctor. You should do this when you collect your last repeat, as you will be looking for a convenient time for both you and the doctor.
