Start of Press Release...

"Mumps cases treble: doctor urges young people to get jabbed"

"Three times as many cases of Mumps have been notified to Kent and Medway Health Protection Unit this year compared to last year. Following an immunisation programme among students at the University of Kent at Canterbury in response to a mumps outbreak there in February this year, the numbers of cases reduced, but then started to rise again.
The numbers have risen in the last few weeks so that the unit is now being notified of one suspected case almost every day - although only between a third and a half of them turn into confirmed cases."

Flu - Practice Information

If you think you have flu...
1. Please do not enter the Practice and try to reduce the danger of infecting other people.
2. Please phone the Practice for Medical Advice... a doctor will call you back as soon as possible.

The virus can spread from person to person by touching something that someone with the virus has already touched or from droplets in the air.
We are anxious to prevent this occurring within our practice environment.

Please be sure that in any circumstances if you cover your mouth and nose if you are going to sneeze.
